I've always been fascinated by the glamorous costumes of Baton Twirling. The vibrant colors, the sparkle and shine during a dance performance, and the frame it provides for the athletes, all contribute to the incredible versatility of this sport. My journey
Ich bin durch meine Tochter, die seit über zehn Jahren im Twirlingsport erfolgreich aktiv ist, zum Nähen von Tanzkostümen gekommen. Zunächst habe ich nur ehrenamtlich unseren Verein unterstützt, nur Applikationen aufgenäht und Strasssteine geklebt, bis mich irgendwann die Herausforderung, Kostüme zu entwerfen und zu nähen, packte. Ich habe mir mein Wissen über viele Jahre hinweg durch ehrenamtliche Arbeit in unserem Verein selbst angeeignet und weiß durch das Begleiten unseres Deutschland Teams auf internationalen Turnieren sehr gut, worauf es ankommt, volle Bewegungsfreiheit, was gut ankommt und wunderschön auf der Bühne aussieht!

I got into sewing dance costumes through my daughter, who has been successfully involved in Baton Twirling for over 10 years. Initially, I supported our club as a volunteer, sewing on appliques and gluing rhinestones. But eventually, I was drawn to the challenge of designing and sewing costumes myself. Over the years, I've acquired knowledge through self-learning in my voluntary work for our Twirling Club and gained valuable insights by accompanying our German team to international tournaments.
I know what it takes to ensure full freedom of movement, what resonates well, and what looks beautiful on stage!
